Making Turkey meet barcode technology, Exim A.Ş. was established.
8 years after the foundations of Hitay Holding were laid, Emin Hitay founded Exim company when the concept of technology was still relatively new in Turkey. Hence, investment activities in the IT sector has begun. Exim's success story, starting in a square-meters office, gained momentum in February 1988 as it has got the distributorship of a leading company operating in data collection terminals market. This success has also brought the distributorship of barcode printers and readers to Exim. Introducing the barcode system to Turkey, Exim has quickly become an important actor in the Automatic Recognition/Data Collection segment.
